UGC NET Admit Card 2026: There is good news for lakhs of candidates waiting for the UGC NET exam to be held in June 2026. Actually NTA has released the admit card for UGC NET June 2026 exam. Candidates who have applied for the examination can now download their hall ticket from the official website. The candidates appearing in the examination have been advised to download their admit card before the examination date and have also been asked to verify all the information given on it carefully to avoid any problem later.
When will UGC NET exam 2026 be held?
Exams for which NTA has issued admit cards. It will be held on 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30 June 2026. Candidates can download their admit cards online for all these scheduled exam dates. Let us tell you that this examination is for the candidates taking admission in Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship and PhD programs. Before releasing the admit card, NTA issued a slip containing city information for the registered candidates. In this slip, candidates were given information about the city where their examination center has been scheduled.
What is the exam pattern of UGC NET 2026 exam?
There will be two question papers in UGC NET exam, the total marks of which will be 300. Both the question papers contain multiple choice and objective type questions. The first question paper is of 100 marks, which consists of 50 questions. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the research and educational qualifications of the candidates, with special emphasis on reasoning ability and general knowledge. The second paper is of 200 marks and contains 100 questions. It assesses the subject specific knowledge of the candidate and is based on the subjects chosen by the candidates. According to UGC, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers, while two marks will be given for the correct answer.

How to Download UGC NET 2026 Admit Card?
- To download the admit card of UGC NET exam, first of all students have to go to the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- After this you have to click on the UGC NET Admit Card 2026 link available on the home page.
- Now you have to fill your application number and other login information.
- After filling the information, click on the submit button.
- Now the admit card will appear on the screen, which students can download and keep with them.
