According to IMD, till June 25, the northern limit of monsoon is passing through Surat, Indore, Mandla and Motihari. The Meteorological Department has warned that this week there may be heavy rain in the West Coast, Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim between June 27 and 29. On June 28, there may be very heavy rain in some areas of Assam and Meghalaya.

Storm and rain alert in 22 states

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain with strong winds in 22 states including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 70 kilometers per hour. However, there is an alert of heat wave in some areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh for the next 3 to 4 days.

The weather may change in Rajasthan from 26 June to 1 July. There may be rain and dust storm in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sriganganagar and Jaisalmer. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour.

Weather condition in Bihar-Jharkhand

The weather will be mixed in Bihar on June 26, 2026. There may be thunderstorms, strong winds and light rain in many areas. At the same time, the effect of heat and heat wave may persist in some districts of South Bihar. There is a possibility of rain in many areas on June 29 and July 1. There may be storm, lightning and heavy rain at many places. Weather may change in Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri, Pauri, Almora, Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Rudraprayag. There may be storm, lightning and rain at many places in Jammu and Kashmir between June 26 and July 1. There are chances of rain in many areas on June 30 and July 1. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour.
