Special thing is filled inside the airbag

Along with this, a small inflator i.e. gas generator is installed inside the bag. As long as the vehicle runs normally this chemical remains completely silent. But as soon as the vehicle collides with something, a powerful explosion occurs inside this chemical due to which nitrogen gas is formed and the bag inflates.

How does the whole system work?
This question might also come in your mind that how does the airbag system work? For information, let us tell you that advanced crash sensors are installed everywhere in the car. When the vehicle hits something at high speed, these sensors immediately sense the danger. The sensors send signals to the car’s computer without wasting even a second.
Which produces an electric spark in the airbag inflator. As soon as this spark occurs, the sodium azide chemical burns. As soon as the fire starts, it rapidly releases nitrogen gas and your airbag gets fully inflated in front of you in just 0.03 seconds.
Why does the bag deflate?
While you must have also noticed that at the time of an accident the airbag gets activated immediately but soon after this the bag also deflates. Let us tell you that the fabric of the airbag is made of nylon and there are small holes behind it.
As soon as your head and chest hit the inflated bag, it absorbs the shock from your body. Immediately after this, nitrogen gas quickly comes out through these holes, due to which the bag deflates and you get the full way to get out of the car. So overall this is how the airbag works.
