What will change in Madhya Pradesh after the implementation of UCC? Three ministers of Mohan Yadav government explained

Madhya Pradesh government has taken a big decision regarding Uniform Civil Code (UCC). The state cabinet has approved the draft of UCC. Now this bill will be presented in the House during the Assembly session starting from Monday (July 20). The politics of the state has also become heated regarding this decision of the government. After the approval of the cabinet, many ministers of the government called it a historic step and put forward their views.

There should be a uniform law for citizens – Kailash Vijayvargiya

State Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said, “Our political journey started from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and we have been in favor of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) since the beginning. We had opposed the implementation of Article 370 by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. We believed that a country cannot have two flags, two Constitutions and two heads. This was the first movement of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. In that struggle, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee made the supreme sacrifice for the country. We will always We remained committed to the same ideology and as soon as we got the opportunity, we abolished Article 370.”

He further said, “Equal laws should apply to every citizen living in this country. No one should get special rights on the basis of law, because this weakens the spirit of true democracy.”

Prahlad Singh Patel congratulated the Chief Minister

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Prahlad Singh Patel lauded the Chief Minister’s decision, saying, “First of all, I congratulate the Chief Minister. He has chosen the right time and the right opportunity for this. This issue will come up in the Assembly tomorrow, after which its various aspects will be discussed in detail. I once again congratulate the Chief Minister for choosing the right time and the right opportunity. Congress has no respect for history. I believe this is their biggest mistake. They should look back towards the culture and traditions of India.”

Regarding UCC, Cabinet Minister Vishwas Sarang said, “Uniformity is very important for the future. For years, Congress governments did not pay attention to this subject. UCC is a very important dimension of the different efforts that PM Narendra Modi has made to bring unity, integrity and uniformity in this country. Some of the remaining states of the country had passed it. Today in the cabinet meeting, a proposal has been passed to take it to the Assembly. This will definitely bring uniformity, equality in rights. Will come and the coming generations will get justice and rights with uniformity.”

Taking aim at the Congress, he said, “What will you expect from the Congress? The Congress only does the politics of breaking this country.
