Assembly Elections Results 2026: The results of the assembly elections held in four states of the country – Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and one union territory Puducherry have become clear. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again blossomed in Assam and Puducherry, while in West Bengal, BJP has broken all records and ousted the ruling Trinamool Congress from power for 15 years. Even CM Mamata Banerjee, who ruled Bengal for 15 years, has lost from her Bhawanipur seat. BJP candidate from Bhawanipur, Subhendu Adhikari has defeated Mamata Banerjee by a margin of 15,105 votes. The election results in Bengal have dealt a severe blow to the opposition parties.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s words, Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee said that central agencies and the Election Commission have been misused.

Whereas the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is leading on a total of 81 seats.
