15 year old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has once again proved his talent by performing brilliantly on the Zimbabwe tour. After not performing as per expectations on the tour of England and Ireland, Vaibhav made a strong comeback and scored 151 runs in three T20 matches. During this period, two brilliant half-centuries also came from his bat. Due to his excellent performance, he was chosen Player of the Series. Vaibhav’s brilliant batting also benefited Team India. Under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, India won the T20 series and the young batsman played an important role in the victory. Now after the end of the Zimbabwe tour, the biggest question in the minds of the fans is that when will Vaibhav Suryavanshi be seen in Team India’s jersey next time.

Will not be part of the team on Sri Lanka tour

After the Zimbabwe tour, the Indian team will tour Sri Lanka next month. India has to play a two-test series on this tour. However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not currently a part of the Test team’s plans. In such a situation, he is unlikely to get a chance to play on this tour. The next T20 series of the Indian team will be played against West Indies in October. This will be a home series, in which the West Indies team will tour India.

The first three ODI matches will be played between the two teams. After this a five-match T20 series will be organised. If Vaibhav maintains his current form then he will be expected to be a part of Team India in this series. The first match of the T20 series will be played on 6 October at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. After this, the remaining four matches will be held in Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
