Rajasthan Royals has announced the replacement of wicketkeeper batsman Ravi Singh. Ravi was out of IPL 2026 due to hamstring injury. He has been replaced by Immanjot Chahal in the Rajasthan team. RR team has made this big change just before the match against Mumbai Indians.
Rajasthan has to play a match with MI at Wankhede Stadium on 24th May, which is very important from the playoff point of view. He will get Rs 30 lakh from Rajasthan team. But who is Imanjot Chahal, whom Rajasthan has included in its team before its most important match?
Who is Immanjot Chahal?
Imanjot Singh Chahal was born on 17 August 2004 in Patiala, Punjab. 21-year-old Imanjot is an all-rounder by profession, bats with his right hand and bowls off-spin with his left hand. Imanjot plays for Punjab in domestic cricket and made his first-class debut in 2024.
So far in his red ball career, apart from taking 11 wickets in 3 matches, he has also scored 105 runs. He also has a fifty to his name in his first-class career. Imanjot has not yet made his white ball cricket debut in senior level cricket.

Rajasthan Royals, captained by Riyan Parag, is in trouble in IPL 2026. The fate of Rajasthan is in his hands. Because if it wins the last league match, it will go to the playoffs and if it loses, the difficulties will increase manifold.
