Jaiswal had defeated the Samajwadi Party candidate by a margin of 40,776 votes in the 2022 assembly elections, but this time during the Northern Assembly SIR, maximum number of voters have been left out of the list.
BJP’s MLA had won from the Southern Assembly seat, but the contest was very thorny.
