After being badly beaten in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan often resorts to poisonous statements against India to divert attention from the economic and political plight. Pakistan’s Climate Minister Musadiq Malik has scolded India over the Indus water dispute. Before this, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and President Asif Ali Zardari have also given provocative statements recently.
Pak minister spews venom against India
Regarding the Indus Water Treaty dispute, Pakistan’s Climate Minister Musadiq Malik accused India of controlling the water supply. According to Dawn’s report, Malik said, ‘The Prime Minister of the neighboring country (India) has the control of a tap in his hands. They say that they will not allow even a single drop of water to flow into Pakistan. We will cut off the hands of those who claim our share of water.
Khawaja Asif’s threat of military action against India
Pakistan’s Defense Minister, while talking to a local channel recently, had raised eyebrows regarding the Indus Water Agreement and said that if Pakistan feels any threat to its water security, then it will not hesitate to take military action against India. India had strongly criticized this statement of Pak Defense Minister and called it an attempt to hide its failures and divert attention from human rights violations.
Pak President’s comment on Varanasi Mosque
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari had recently given a statement regarding the security of Muslim religious places in India while referring to the Ganj Shaheeda Mosque of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. On this a befitting reply was given by India. The spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs clearly said that the neighboring country has no right to comment on the internal affairs of India.
Baseless allegations of Karachi terrorist attack
Pakistan had tried to blame India for the terrorist attack on Gulistan-e-Johar camp of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in Karachi. Rejecting this, India had given a sharp reaction. India advised the neighboring country to look within itself instead of pointing fingers at others and advised it to take concrete and credible action against the terrorist infrastructure present on its soil.
Pak MP’s anti-India statement
Last month i.e. in May, during a program in America, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and MP Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan had spewed venom against India. Pak MP praised the action of Pakistani Army in the India-Pakistan conflict of 2025 and said in a mocking tone – ‘If you don’t understand, you people of India will be destroyed…’
