Police investigation revealed that wife Ruby had conspired to murder her husband Surendra Sharma. According to preliminary investigation, he took this step after being fed up with the daily fights and assaults. It is alleged that she gave 15 to 20 sleeping pills to her husband, due to which he died. After this he dug a pit in the bathroom of the house and buried the body. Despite this, she kept pretending to search for her missing husband for about 45 days and did not let anyone know about this incident.
A new twist in the case came when the deceased’s brother Anil Sharma became suspicious. He told that the ATM card was used by Surendra Sharma. Even after Surendra’s disappearance, it was used two to three times and transactions were also done with it. After this his suspicion on Ruby deepened. During interrogation, Anil Sharma told him that if he had done something or if Surendra had left saying he was going somewhere, then he should tell the truth. On this, Ruby allegedly admitted that she had murdered her husband and buried his body by digging a pit in the bathroom. Anil Sharma was also shocked to hear this.

Neighbors told that Ruby’s behavior was normal during these 45 days and she used to talk well to everyone. No one had any idea that she could commit such a horrific incident. It was told that Ruby and Surendra have two daughters. Two-three days before the incident, Ruby had sent both the girls with her brother-in-law Anil Sharma and had also sent her mother-in-law to their house. According to the information, Ruby used to manage the household expenses by sewing, while her husband worked as a truck driver.
ACP Hariparvat Ameesha gave information about the entire matter. He told that the accused wife killed her husband by giving him 15 to 20 sleeping pills and buried the body by digging a pit in the bathroom of the house. The police arrested the accused wife Ruby and presented her in the court, from where she was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Police say that further investigation will be conducted in the matter and it is feared that many more shocking revelations related to this incident may come to light during the investigation.
