Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public meeting in Munger on Saturday (October 25, 2025), said that this election of Bihar is not to make anyone the Chief Minister, but this election is to save Bihar from the jungle raj of Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi. Lalu and Rabri had ruled Jungle Raj in Bihar for decades. In 2005, the people of Bihar had uprooted the jungle raj of Lalu and Rabri and elected Nitish Kumar.
He further said, ‘If Lalu and Rabri come again, Jungle Raj will come again and if Modi ji and Nitish ji come, there will be development in Bihar. All the five parties of NDA are together like Panch Pandavas and there the grand alliance is fighting among themselves.
NDA freed Bihar from Naxalism
Accusing RJD, the Home Minister said, ‘Murder, robbery, ransom, kidnapping and massacre were daily occurrences during Lalu-Rabri’s rule. Under his rule, industries left Bihar and worked to make Bihar backward. Under the leadership of Nitish Babu, NDA got freedom from Jungle Raj, ended nepotism and the biggest thing is that we worked to free Bihar from Naxalism.
He said, ‘Modi ji built a grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, we are also building a grand temple of Mother Sita in Sitamarhi, but Lalu and the Congress party have always been opposing Lord Ram.’
Amit Shah’s attack on opposition parties
Amit Shah said, ‘Ramlala was living in a tent for 550 years. Congress, SP, BSP, Mamta, Lalu, everyone gathered and opposed the temple. People of Bihar, in 2019 you made Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again. Modi ji also performed Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya and performed Jai Shri Ram after consecrating his life. Ram temple was already built in Ayodhya, now a grand temple of Mother Sita is also being built here in Sitamarhi with an expenditure of Rs 850 crore.
