Large relief to students in scorching heat, 46 days holiday declared in Madhya Pradesh

According to the order issued, all government and private schools in the state will be closed from May 1 to June 15, 2025. That is, students will get a long holiday of 46 days. This decision has been taken in view of the scorching heat so that students can be safe from hot weather.

During this time, neither classes nor any other activities will be conducted in schools. It has also been clarified in the order that the duration of the holiday for teachers will be different.

Teachers have been given a total leave of 31 days from May 1 to May 31, 2025. But there is a demand from the teachers that their holidays should also be increased.

Apart from summer vacation, the Education Department has also released the list of major holidays of the whole year. In this, Dussehra, Deepawali and winter holiday dates have been fixed.

The holiday of Dussehra will be from 1 October to 3 October. Deepawali holiday will be available from October 18 to October 23. While the winter holiday will be from 31 December to 4 January.
