Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s romantic drama ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ was released in theaters this Diwali. This film has received positive response from a section of the audience and with this, this small budget film is dominating the box office. Even in front of Ayushma Khurrana’s ‘Thama’, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ is gaining popularity. Although its earnings took a hit as soon as it entered weekdays on Monday, it was back on track on Tuesday and a rise in its earnings was seen.
Amidst all this, if we talk about the collection of ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, this film, which opened the account with Rs 9 crore, earned Rs 7.75 crore on the second day, Rs 6 crore on the third day, Rs 5.5 crore on the fourth day, Rs 6.25 crore on the fifth day, Rs 7 crore on the sixth day and Rs 3.5 crore on the seventh day.

Although ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ is still behind Ayushmann, Rashmika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s horror-comedy film ‘Thamaa’, which has earned more than Rs 101 crore in 8 days, yet ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has become a commercial hit. Actually, this film, made with a modest budget of just Rs 25 crores, has earned more than its production cost in just eight days. It has also left behind the lifetime collection of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ (Rs 42.28 crore). And this has become the biggest film of Harshvardhan’s career.
