Union Minister of State and Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary has welcomed the decision to increase sugarcane prices in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the Yogi government of UP increased the price of sugarcane by Rs 30 per quintal without the demand of the farmers, this shows that the NDA government is working for the farmers.
Jayant Chaudhary said that the Yogi government increased the prices of sugarcane at a time when neither farmers nor any farmer organization was agitating for the prices of sugarcane. It is clear that the NDA government is working for the welfare of the farmers, this decision of the government has brought a smile on the faces of the farmers of the state.

The Union Minister said that today the farmers are realizing that whatever was in the farmer’s heart, which could not be expressed in words, has been fulfilled by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The way Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath increased the price of sugarcane by Rs 30 at a time, before this no Chief Minister during the BJP tenure had increased the price by so much.
Lok Dal lives among the farmers and understands their sentiments, the last Parliament elections raised the slogan that this time it will cross 400. At that time I had said that if the NDA government is formed for the third time, the price of sugarcane will cross 400. What we had said has been fulfilled.
Farmers will get benefit of Rs 3000 crore
Jayant Chaudhary, while thanking CM Yogi Adityanath and the Central Government, said that farmers will get direct benefit of Rs 3000 crore from this. Farmers have today realized that this government is not someone else’s government but the farmers’ government.
