Team India defeated South Africa by 52 runs in the Women’s World Cup 2025 final and won the title of World Champion.
After winning the World Cup, the Indian women’s cricket team enjoyed a lot on the field and took out a victory parade.
The Indian team roamed around the entire ground and thanked the fans who came to support the team at Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur handed over the trophy to the legendary players of Team India, whose dream was to win the World Cup for India.
Harmanpreet Kaur also handed over the World Cup trophy to India’s famous cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Jhulan Goswami became emotional as soon as she held the trophy and hugged Harman.
Team India reached former Indian cricketer Mithali Raj with the World Cup trophy. The team handed the trophy to Mithali Raj. Mithali celebrated with the trophy in her hand.
Team India’s coach Amol Majumdar had a big contribution in this victory of India. After winning the final, Harmanpreet Kaur touched the feet of the coach and also handed over the World Cup trophy.
Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana celebrated this victory of India together. Both of them got a photoshoot done wearing the tricolor.
Before the World Cup semi-final match, India’s opening batsman Pratika Rawal got injured. Pratika performed brilliantly in this entire tournament. Pratika was also seen dancing while standing from the wheelchair on the victory of Team India.
