While addressing election meetings in Saharsa and Lakhisarai, Bihar, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said on Monday (3 November 2025), “PM Modi should create a separate ministry of insults so that he does not waste time in repeatedly accusing the opposition of insults.”
PM Modi is running Bihar: Priyanka Gandhi
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi called upon women to take Rs 10,000 from the state government, but never vote for NDA because the intentions of this government are not clear and this Rs 10,000 is a political bribe. Priyanka Gandhi also said that there is no double engine government in Bihar, but a single engine government which is being run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said, “The Prime Minister and the Home Minister always talk about the past. These people always find something to insult someone from somewhere. Said in Karnataka that the opposition insulted Karnataka. When he went to West Bengal, he talked about insulting West Bengal. In Bihar they are saying that the opposition parties are insulting Bihar.
‘PM Modi should create a ministry of insults’
Taking a dig at the Prime Minister, the Congress leader said, “I suggest that the Prime Minister create a new ministry and name it Ministry of Insults so that his time is not wasted.” They make huge lists that he abused, she abused, he insulted. What list will he himself make, this insult will be made by the Ministry. Priyanka Gandhi claimed that the votes of more than 65 lakh people in Bihar were canceled, which means that the rights of these people were abolished.
He said, “Voting gives many rights to the people and if this goes away then you will be left with nothing. Vote theft is a big conspiracy against the people.” Citing the Bihar government’s scheme related to women, the Congress leader said, ”Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar announce giving Rs 10,000 to women a week before the Bihar elections. Where were these 10 thousand rupees for 20 years?
‘Loans will not be waived off for common people’
He alleged that the intentions of BJP and JDU are not clear. The Congress leader alleged, “Narendra Modi has given all the big industries to his friends.” Adani was given land in Bihar at the rate of one rupee per acre, but if you go to buy that land, you will have to take a loan. Your loan will never be forgiven, but thousands and crores of rupees of PM Modi’s friends get forgiven.
He said, “Kosi river floods every year. Due to this many people face problems and have to suffer huge losses. Earlier, when the Congress government was at the Centre, floods were declared a national disaster. In this, financial assistance was provided by the government, but today nothing is available.
Atrocities on minorities: Priyanka Gandhi
Addressing an election rally in Lakhisarai, Priyanka Gandhi claimed, “Just as you (the public) are not heard, similarly Nitish Kumar is not heard at the Centre.” There is no double engine government in Bihar, there is only a single engine government which is being run by PM Modi.” He said that the maximum number of youth are in Bihar, but the maximum number of unemployed are also in Bihar.
Priyanka Gandhi alleged that Dalits, extremely backward, backward, minorities and women are being tortured in Bihar. Referring to the election promises of the Grand Alliance, he said that these will be fully implemented once the government is formed. The Congress General Secretary also conducted a road show in Rosa, Samastipur in which a large number of people participated.
