Haq Box Office Collection Day 3: There was a rise in the earnings of ‘Haq’ on Sunday but even after three days it could not make Rs 10 crore, how will the budget be made?


Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s much awaited film ‘Haq’ was released in theaters this Friday. The start of this film was a little slow but it is getting good response from the audience. At the same time, this film has got the benefit of positive word of mouth and after Saturday, its earnings saw a rise on Sunday also. Bollywood’s latest emotional courtroom drama, ‘Haq’ was released in theaters on 7th. Directed by Suparn S Verma, this film is inspired by the Shah Bano case of 1985. A lot of buzz was created about this film even before its release. However, it opened with Rs 1.75 crore on the first day. But the film is being praised a lot on social media and with this, after getting positive word of mouth, ‘Haq’ showed a growth of more than 91.43 percent on the second day and collected Rs 3.35 crore. There was a rise in the earnings of ‘Haq’ even on the third day of its release.

  • According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, ‘Haq’ has earned Rs 3.75 crore on the third day of its release i.e. Sunday.
  • With this, the total earning of ‘Haq’ in three days has now become Rs 8.85 crore.

It has been three days since ‘Haq’ was released in theaters but the film has still not been able to recover even half its budget. Let us tell you that this film has been made with a budget of Rs 25 crores. This bus has been able to earn Rs 9 crore in three days. Of course, the film is being praised a lot but it is not earning much. Now the real test has to happen on Monday. Because there is always a decline in the earnings of films on weekdays, now it remains to be seen how much collection ‘Haq’ is able to make on Monday.

Haq is inspired by the life and legal struggle of Shah Bano Begum, whose landmark 1985 case led to the Supreme Court granting maintenance rights to divorced Muslim women. The film revolves around Shazia (Yami Gautam Dhar), a domestic, uneducated woman who marries a successful lawyer Abbas Khan (Emraan Hashmi). But one day, suddenly Abbas brings home another wife. Shortly afterwards, he ends his marriage with Shazia by giving her triple talaq. Shazia’s legal struggle for her rights is the further story of the film. Apart from Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, the film has many actors including Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain.
