Ram Kapoor said a big thing about age in the industry

Ram Kapoor made this revelation while talking to Akanksha Chamola during Netflix’s reality show ‘Lock Up: Sach Ya Saja’. Actually, in the show, Akanksha Chamola told Ram Kapoor that she is soon going to make a new beginning by living separately from her husband Gaurav Khanna. In such a situation, they will have to make a new place for themselves and also have to handle their career afresh. He told Ram that he might need his help in this journey.
After listening to Akanksha, Ram assured to support her without any hesitation. He said that if needed, he will deploy his entire team to help them.
Opportunities become less after the age of 35
During the conversation, Akanksha mentioned a big problem of the entertainment industry and said that here assumptions are made very quickly about the age of the artists. As soon as an artiste crosses the age of 35, he is shunned saying that he is no longer the same as before. Due to this, new opportunities for artists start decreasing and their career gets affected.
Gautami Kapoor has also faced such a phase
While talking to Ram Kapoor, Akanksha said, ‘You know that people do not look at our age in a positive light. Unfortunately, as soon as an artiste turns 35, he is shunned saying that he is too old. I don’t understand much of this world. I have done as much as I could. Now I hope that I keep getting work in future also, so that I can make my life secure.
Hearing Akanksha’s words, Ram Kapoor said that her condition reminds him of his wife Gautami Kapoor. He told that Gautami has also gone through a similar phase in her career and he understands this pain very well.
Ram said, ‘Gautami and I have also faced age discrimination. Gautami had also gone through a similar situation in the beginning. I don’t want to say much about this, but Gautami has also gone through what you are going through. She is my wife, my world, my love. So I can understand the situation you are in. I will help you as much as possible.
