Car Selling Tips: On November 10, at around 7 pm, an explosion occurred in a moving i20 car near the Red Fort in Delhi. 13 people lost their lives and many were injured in this accident. Investigation revealed that the car in which the blast took place was purchased only four days ago. The person who bought the car was the third owner.

Get RC transfer done immediately
The most important task is to get the name transferred in RTO by filling Form 29 and 30. Unless the name is changed in the RTO records, the entire responsibility of the vehicle remains with the old owner. The online process can be started. But it is better to go to RTO and get physical verification done.

Clear outstanding invoices and loans
Before selling the car, pay all the challans, road tax and fines. If there is a bank loan on the car. So get the hypothecation removed by taking NOC from the bank. Failure to do so may stop the RC transfer and the buyer will face problems.
Have valid insurance and PUC
Both PUC certificate and insurance should be valid. Transfer or cancel your insurance policy after selling the car. RC of old petrol and diesel vehicles becomes invalid in Delhi-NCR. Therefore, give such vehicles to a registered scrapping center and obtain a certificate. With this you will be completely legally protected.
