AIU statement
The statement issued by AIU said that as per the by-laws of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), membership of any university remains effective as long as it is in ‘good standing’.
The statement further said that on the basis of recent reports in the media, it is clear that Al-Falah University located in Faridabad, Haryana is currently not in a situation which can be called harmonious. Therefore, AIU has decided to suspend the membership of Al-Falah University with immediate effect.
Administration closed access to the website
After the cancellation of membership, the university administration has closed the official website of Al-Falah University. Now when trying to visit the website, users are seeing the message “Service Unavailable”.

It is noteworthy that Al-Falah University has been surrounded by controversies for some time. After the Delhi blasts, the name of the university came on the radar of investigating agencies.
