BCCI rejected the reports
Last Friday, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia made it clear that Rohit will not play his last match at Lord’s. He said that as long as Rohit is included in the plans of Team India, he will continue to represent his country.
Personally, Rohit Sharma’s form is not going well. His scores in the first two matches against England have been 11 and 26 and he has been able to score only one half-century in the last eight ODI innings. BCCI’s dismissal of rumors of Rohit’s retirement can be understood to mean that Yashasvi Jaiswal may have to wait longer for his chance.
