The biggest day of Bihar Assembly elections 2025 has arrived. Counting of votes for 243 assembly seats of the state will start from 8 am on Friday (14 November 2025). Today’s vote counting will proceed in three phases, first the postal ballots will be counted. After this, the EVMs will be opened and the votes will be tallied and official results will start coming round by round. Although it will take time for official results to come out, initial trends will start emerging between 8:30–9:00 pm. This means that the direction of the results will become clear in just one hour.
In this election, both NDA and Grand Alliance have claimed victory during the entire campaign. NDA has expressed confidence in the joint leadership of PM Modi and Nitish Kumar. The Grand Alliance claims that they will win the elections on the issues of employment, inflation and change.
