National Health Mission (NHM) Maharashtra has brought a big opportunity for the youth. The Mission has announced the recruitment of 1974 posts of Community Health Officer (CHO) across the state. If you want to make a career in the health sector, then this opportunity is for you. The application process has started and candidates can apply online by visiting nhm.maharashtra.gov.in. The last date of application is 14th November.
Under this recruitment drive, posts have been reserved under various categories like SC, ST, OBC, EWS and General. To apply for these posts, candidates must have B.Sc Nursing, BAMS or BUMS degree. Also, their name should be registered with the State Nursing Council or the concerned professional board.

Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age is 45 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the maximum age limit. This recruitment not only provides a permanent job opportunity but also provides a chance to serve the society.
This is how the selection will be done
The selection process will be in two phases. First written examination, then interview. The knowledge and skills of the candidates will be tested in the written examination. There will be total 100 questions in the exam and total marks will also be 100. This exam will be in both Marathi and English languages so that all the candidates can understand it easily.
What will be the salary?
Now talking about salary, the selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 40,000 every month. This salary is attractive for youth who are looking for a stable and respectable career. This much application fee will have to be paid
Talking about the application fee, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000, while SC, ST, OBC and orphan candidates will have to pay Rs 900. The application for ex-servicemen is completely free.

Click on “Apply Online” link on the homepage, fill your information, upload documents, pay fees and submit the form. After this, download a copy of the application and take its print out.
