- Actually, first of all the most awaited return of Tata Sierra will be on 25th November. After this, on November 27, Mahindra will present its electric flagship XEV 9S. Then on December 2, Maruti will launch its first electric SUV e Vitara. New petrol variants of Tata Harrier and Safari will be launched in the market on 9th December this month. After this, the new generation Kia Seltos will be launched globally on 10th December. Overall, the coming weeks are going to be very special for SUV buyers.
Tata Sierra
- Tata Sierra is going to return to the Indian market after a long time. The company is presenting it with modern design and new features. Initially this SUV will be available with petrol and diesel engines. It is expected to get 1.5 liter naturally aspirated and 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine along with 1.5 liter diesel engine. It will also compete with the new generation SUVs in terms of features and comfort. Its electric model may arrive by the beginning of 2026.
Mahindra XEV 9S
- Mahindra XEV 9S has been designed as the EV version of XUV700. The premium and high-tech interior of this SUV is clearly visible in the teaser released by the company. It will be provided with features like triple screen setup, new two-spoke steering wheel, large panoramic sunroof and sliding second-row seats.
Maruti and Vitara
- Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its first EV e Vitara on 2 December. This SUV will come with two battery packs – 49kWh and 61kWh. The smaller battery pack will give a range of 344 km, while the larger pack will last up to 428 km. The range of the AWD model will be 394 km. Due to Maruti’s economical maintenance, this electric SUV can quickly become popular.
Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol
- Tata Motors is going to introduce its popular SUVs Harrier and Safari in the market with petrol engine option. Both will have 1.5 liter TGDi petrol engine, which will give 170PS power and 280Nm torque. Features and design will remain the same, but with the introduction of petrol engine, there can be a big jump in the sales of these SUVs.
New Kia Seltos
- Kia will launch the new generation Seltos in December 2025. There will be major changes in design and features in the new model. Engine options will remain almost the same, but the 1.5 liter diesel engine is likely to get a new 7-speed automatic gearbox. This SUV will now become more premium and hi-tech than before and will again try to establish a strong hold in its segment.
