Recruitment for bumper posts in NIT, salary will be more than Rs 2 lakh, people up to this age can apply

This time many important posts of Group-A have been included in the recruitment, which include posts like Principal Scientific/Technical Officer, Superintending Engineer, Deputy Librarian, Senior SAS Officer, Medical Officer, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Librarian and Scientific/Technical Officer. All these posts are related to the administrative and technical needs of the institute and will require high qualification as well as experience. Whereas in Group-B, the posts of Technical Assistant/Junior Engineer, Library and Information Assistant and Superintendent are vacant.

In these roles, there will be an opportunity to handle technical and management related tasks. Maximum number of vacancies have emerged in Group-C, in which recruitment will be done on posts like Senior Technician, Senior Assistant, Technician, Junior Assistant and Lab/Office Attendant. These posts do not require much experience, so this can prove to be a good opportunity for new candidates.

As far as the application fee is concerned, for Group-A, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 1500, whereas for Group-B and Group-C this fee has been kept at Rs 1000. Relaxation as per rules will be applicable for SC, ST and PWD candidates. After being selected in the recruitment, the candidates will get attractive salary. Principal Scientific/Technical Officer will get salary as per pay level-14, Superintending Engineer will get pay level-13, while Deputy Librarian and Senior SAS Officer will get salary as per pay level-12.

Medical Officer, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Librarian and Scientific/Technical Officer will be given pay level-10. Whereas Technical Assistant, Library and Information Assistant and Superintendent will get pay level-6, Senior Technician and Senior Assistant will get pay level-4, Technician and Junior Assistant will get pay level-3, while Lab and Office Attendants will get pay under pay level-1.

Talking about qualification, for Group-A posts, it is necessary to have BE/B.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, MD or Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized institute. For Group-B, graduation or diploma from a recognized institute is mandatory. Whereas for Group-C, 12th along with ITI or Diploma in related trade will be required.
