Security forces have once again achieved major success against Naxalites on the border of Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. In a fierce encounter that lasted for about half an hour between police and Naxalites in the forests of GMvalsa in Maredumilli police station area, security forces killed 7 hardcore Naxalites. Many highly rewarded Maoists are included among the killed Naxalites.
The biggest name among the killed Naxalites is Meturu Joga Rao alias Tek Shankar. He was a member of the Special Zonal Committee of the Maoist organization and a reward of Rs 40 lakh was declared on his head. This is considered a big achievement for the police.
Security forces also killed Seeto alias Jyoti in the encounter. She was a DivCM member and had a reward of Rs 8 lakh. Along with this, many other Naxalites were also killed on whom huge rewards were also declared.
Success achieved through continuous search operation
According to the police, a large movement of Naxalites was seen in this area in the last two days. On Tuesday also there was an encounter with the team of dreaded Naxalite Madvi Hidma. For this reason, the security forces started a large-scale search operation in the area, during which another encounter took place between 6:30 and 7:00 am today.
8 weapons found in encounter, 2 AK-47 also recovered
Police have recovered a total of 8 weapons including 2 AK-47 from the incident site. The police team is still conducting a search operation in the area to eliminate the possibility of any more Naxalite hiding.
Bastar IG Sundarraj P said that the back of Naxalites is breaking due to the continuous operation in Chhattisgarh. For this reason, many Naxalites are now trying to cross the state border and escape towards Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Police is also intensifying anti-Naxal operations. Therefore, continuous encounters are taking place on the borders of both the states.
13 Maoists killed in two days, 28 arrested
Within two days, security forces have killed a total of 13 hardcore Naxalites. Apart from this, Andhra Pradesh Police has arrested more than 28 Maoists from many districts including Vijayawada.

This major action by the security forces has caused huge losses to the Naxalites. Police say that the operation will continue further and the remaining strength of Naxalites in the area will be completely eliminated.
