U-19 World Cup Schedule: ICC has released the complete schedule of Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026. This time many big changes will be seen in the tournament. The biggest change in which is keeping India and Pakistan in separate groups. This means that the two teams will not face each other in the group stage, and their possible encounter can only be in the Super Six or knockouts.
India’s campaign will start from January 15
India will play its first match against America on January 15 in Bulawayo. This match will be a great opportunity for Team India to start the campaign with a win. After this, India will face Bangladesh on 17th January and New Zealand on 24th January. All three matches will be played on the grounds of Bulawayo.
Group A includes America, Bangladesh and New Zealand along with India. The top three teams in the group will enter the Super Six round, where two groups will be formed and each group will have six teams.
The thrill of 41 matches between 16 teams
A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament. They have been divided into four groups – A, B, C and D of four teams each. A total of 41 matches will be played within 23 days, which include Super Six, semi-finals and final. The groups are as follows:
Group A: India, America, Bangladesh, New Zealand
Group B: Zimbabwe, Pakistan, England, Scotland
Group C: Australia, Ireland, Japan, Sri Lanka
Group D: Tanzania, West Indies, Afghanistan, South Africa
This time Tanzania will participate in this prestigious tournament for the first time, while Japan is returning after 2020.
Matches will be played on five different grounds
The Under-19 World Cup will be held on five grounds in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
In Zimbabwe – Harare Sports Club, Takashinga and Queens Sports Club.
in namibia – Windhoek Cricket Ground and HP Oval.
Practice matches will be held between 9 to 14 January. After this, league stage, Super Six round, two semi-finals and then an exciting final match will be played.
