The Indian Education Board (BSB) has taken an important initiative towards establishing harmony between Indian culture and modern science in the field of education. BSB Chairman Dr NP Singh, in a recent divisional level seminar held in Aligarh, stressed that children should not be limited to materialistic education only, but they should also be given knowledge of spiritual teachings like Vedas, Geeta, Upanishads as well as subjects like modern computer science.
Addressing the program, NP Singh said, “This new model focuses on creating a cultured, characterful and scientifically aware generation, the aim of which is to prepare students for global competition by connecting them with their cultural roots.

Dr. N.P. Singh, the keynote speaker of the program, interacted in detail with the managers, principals and representatives of more than 300 schools from across the division. He expressed concern that under the influence of modern western education, moral degradation of students is taking place and Indian culture and values are lacking in education.

He clarified that the basic goal of the Indian Education Board is to make children quality and cultured. This board wants to create characterful citizens by connecting Indian culture, spiritual teachings like Vedas, Shastras, Upanishads, Geeta with modern computer science and the roots of nature. Dr. Singh requested everyone to link their schools with the Indian Education Board to make India strong and a world leader.
Divisional Commissioner Sangeeta Singh, the chief guest of the program, in her address said that parents and ideal teachers are most important in imparting values to children. He said, “We should not be attracted only towards schools in buildings with big facilities, but should return to the ancient Vedic culture.” He appealed to the parents to get their children admitted in the schools affiliated to the Indian Education Board.
