Similarly, Apple users will also be able to share files on Android devices through Quick Share through AirDrop.
How to use AirDrop on Android?
Currently this feature is available only on Pixel 10 devices and in future it can be rolled out on other devices also. If you want to share files with your friend who has an iPhone from Pixel 10, then your friend will have to make his iPhone discoverable to anyone on AirDrop. After this it will become visible in Quick Share. Select it and share the file. In this way you can receive files from iPhone.
Google did not take help from Apple
If you are thinking that this cross-platform feature has been created jointly by Apple and Google, then it is not so. Google has not taken any help from Apple for this.
