Tension continues between Ukraine and America. Now the US President has clearly said that Ukraine has not accepted America’s favor. This is a huge lack of this country. America was providing arms and financial help to Ukraine in its fight with Russia. He also expressed concern over the human devastation caused by this war and strongly criticized Europe for buying oil from Russia.
Trump wrote on the social media account Truth, “I inherited a war that should never have happened. A war in which everyone suffered losses. Millions of people died needlessly in it. Ukraine’s leadership has shown no gratitude at all for our efforts. Europe continues to buy oil from Russia. May the souls of all those who died in this war rest in peace.”
Trump’s statement has come at a time when top representatives of America and Ukraine are going to meet in Geneva on the proposal to stop the war. Trump had given Ukraine an ultimatum of November 27 to end the conflict. But Ukraine rejected that draft. Ukraine believes that this peace draft accepts many of Russia’s hard lines.

Here, posting on his social media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, “Diplomacy has come to life again. Talks can be constructive. Bloodshed must be stopped. Talks should end with a positive outcome.”
