Maharashtra Environment Minister Pankaja Munde’s PA Anant Garje has been arrested by Mumbai’s Worli Police. Actually, Anant Garje’s wife Gauri Garje had committed suicide. Police have registered a case against Garje for abetment to suicide.
Anant Garje’s doctor wife Gauri Palve-Garje (age 28) committed suicide by hanging herself on Saturday (22 November) evening. Gauri Palve-Garje had committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in ‘Maharashtra Multi Unit Residential Society’ in Adarsh Nagar, Worli. Anant Garje and Gauri Palve got married just 10 months ago. However, later Gauri Palve came to know that Anant Garje had an immoral relationship with another woman. Because of this, there used to be fights between Anant Garje and Gauri Palve.
Case registered against three people
Due to this debate, Gauri Palve ended her life by hanging herself on Saturday (22 November) evening. In this case, Worli Police has registered a case of abetment to suicide against Gauri Palve’s husband Anant Garje, brother Ajay Garje and brother-in-law Sheetal Garje.
Had called husband before suicide
The family of Gauri Palve-Garje has made serious allegations regarding her death. Gauri’s family members have expressed suspicion that Gauri did not commit suicide but was murdered. However, Anant Garje has claimed something else in this regard. He said that before committing suicide, Gauri had contacted me on mobile phone. They told me that I was committing suicide. At that time I was on tour with Pankaja Munde. After receiving Gauri’s call, I immediately canceled the tour and returned home. By then Gauri had committed suicide by hanging herself.
When I went home they did not open the door. I went down from the window of the 31st floor flat to the window of our 30th floor flat. Then I saw Gauri’s hanging body from the window. After this we immediately took Gauri to Nair Hospital. However, Anant Garje claimed that the doctors declared him dead.
