Amidst the ongoing SIR process in Uttar Pradesh, a female assistant teacher has resigned from the post of BLO (Booth Level Officer) due to work pressure. The teacher has written in her resignation letter that she is unable to perform both teaching and BLO responsibilities. His resignation letter is going viral on social media.
According to the information received, the name of the teacher is Pinky Singh. She is working as an assistant teacher in the upper primary school of Gejha located in Sector 94. It is being told that Pinky Singh is suffering from thyroid problem and is also facing family problems at home. Because of which she was not able to handle the burden of both the tasks.
Steps taken due to work pressure
Pinky Singh was given the responsibility of BLO of the polling station in Rockwood School, Sector-33. School Principal Neelam Singh said that the teacher had appealed not to install it after being on duty, but she was not listened to. After which the teacher resigned from the post of BLO.

The teacher wrote these things in his resignation letter
In the resignation letter of female teacher Pinky Singh that has gone viral, it is written, ‘My BLO part number is 206. The polling place is Rockwood School. There are 1179 voters in my part number. I have fed offline data of 215 voters. I am now resigning from my job because I will no longer be able to do this work.
He further wrote, ‘Neither teaching work nor BLO work will be possible.’ In the letter he has also appealed to return the election materials. This incident has come to light at a time when the work of Voter List Revision (SIR) is going on at a fast pace in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Action is also being taken against BLOs and supervisors who are negligent in this work.
