A video of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and former cricketer Tejashwi Yadav is going viral. In the video, Tejashwi is seen practicing indoor cricket. His cricket skills still look great. In practice, he was seen hitting cover drives like Virat Kohli and defending like Rahul Dravid.

Tejashwi Yadav is considered a big leader of Bihar, but many people would not know that before coming into politics, he had made a name for himself in cricket also. Tejashwi Yadav played the only first class match in 2009

Tejashwi Yadav has played for Delhi’s U15, U17 and U19 teams. Tejashwi was a standby player in the team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2008. Playing for Jharkhand, he made his first class debut against Vidarbha in November 2009. This also proved to be his last first class match. Tejashwi had scored 1 run in the first innings of this match and 19 runs in the second innings.

Apart from this, Tejashwi Yadav scored 14 runs in 2 List-A matches, he scored only 3 runs in 1 innings played in 4 T20 matches. He was a middle order batsman who also bowled. Although he got only one wicket in List-A.

In which IPL team was Tejashwi Yadav?

The first edition of the Indian Premier League started with 8 teams, one of them, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), had Tejasvi Yadav as a part of their team in the first edition. Delhi had bought him for Rs 8 lakh. In 2009, he remained in the Delhi team at this price. Tejashwi did not play IPL in 2010. In 2011-2012, Delhi bought Tejashwi for Rs 10 lakh, although he could not play in the IPL match. Due to a ligament injury, he had to stay away from cricket in 2013.
