Tata Motors is going to launch its most awaited SUV Tata Sierra 2025 today i.e. on 25th November. There has been a lot of buzz about this SUV for the past several months, as it is the return of the brand’s iconic 90s model in a new avatar. According to reports, Sierra will be offered with ICE engine options first. Its unique design, new features and safety related features are making it a very attractive option in its category. Even before its launch, select dealers are taking its booking for Rs 11,000. Let’s take a look at the features, design and specifications of Sierra.
Powerful and modern design of Tata Sierra
- The design of the new Tata Sierra is futuristic as well as matches its old model. A full-width LED light bar is provided at the front, along with which the textured grille and large ‘Sierra’ badging give the SUV a powerful look. LED headlamps and vertical fog lamps in the lower part make it more premium. The side profile features classic Alpine windows, blacked-out B-pillar, floating roof effect and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels giving the SUV an ultra-modern look.
Luxury interior and features of Tata Sierra
- The interior of the SUV is based on black-grey theme, which is decorated with the new Theater Pro triple screen setup. It includes an instrument cluster and two large infotainment displays, which can be used by both the driver and passenger. Features include JBL’s 12-speaker Dolby Atmos soundbar, panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, wireless charger, rear sunshades, 360-degree camera, connected car technology and multiple drive and terrain modes. Electronic parking brake and auto-hold further add to the premium experience of the SUV.
Specifications and powertrain
- Tata is going to offer three engine options in the new Sierra – 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. These engines will come with manual and automatic gearbox options. Mileage is expected to be 15–18 kmpl in petrol models and 20+ kmpl in diesel models. Boot space can be around 500 litres.
How much will it cost?
- According to reports, the ex-showroom price of Tata Sierra can start from Rs 11–12 lakh and go up to Rs 22 lakh. After launch, it will compete with popular mid-size SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Honda Elevate.
