Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley has filed a case of domestic violence against her husband, Austrian hotelier and entrepreneur Peter Haag. The actress has approached the court under the provisions of the Domestic Violence Act and has accused Hague of domestic violence, cruelty and molestation. She has also demanded Rs 50 crore for the loss of her income due to her husband. After Celina’s petition, a Mumbai court has issued a formal notice to Haag.
Celina has asked the court for custody of all three children.
According to the report of ETimes, the actress is being represented in the court by a team of law firm Karanjwala & Company. The petition alleges that Celina, a 47-year-old mother of three, “has been a victim of continuous domestic violence at his hands.” Celina has asked for a monthly maintenance allowance of Rs 10 lakh and a compensation of Rs 50 crore from Peter. In her petition, the actress has also appealed to stop her husband Peter Haag from entering her house in Mumbai and has sought custody of her three children – Winston, Viraj and Arthur.
