MCC has once again revised the Round 2 schedule of NEET PG Counseling 2025. This time many important dates have been changed, which is necessary for all the candidates who want to take admission in medical and dental postgraduate courses. The counseling process is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and it is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test i.e. NEET PG.
According to the new information released for the academic year 2025-26, all the stages involved in the counseling process Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted as per the new schedule. The verification of the candidates’ data for Round 1 will be completed by MCC on 2 and 3 December 2025. After this the candidates will be able to participate in the Round 2 process.
New dates for Round 2 registration and verification
Round 2 registration will start from 5th December 2025 and will continue till 9th December 2025. For this, candidates will have to visit the official website mcc.nic.in. Verification of seat matrix will also be released on the same day, which will help the students to understand how many seats are available in which colleges.
When will the fees be paid?
Payment of registration fee can also be made only from 5th to 9th December but the time fixed for this has been kept till 3 pm. The facility of filling the choices will open from 6th December and will be available till 11:55 pm on 9th December. The process of choice locking will run from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on 9th December.
Seat allotment and reporting process
The most important phase of counselling, seat allotment, will be completed by MCC between 10th and 11th December 2025, after which the result of Round 2 will be released on 12th December. The candidates who will be allotted seats will have to start the process of reporting and joining from 13th December 2025. Apart from this, the data of the candidates verified by MCC will be made available on 22 and 23 December 2025, so that the further process can be more transparent.
How to register for NEET PG Round 2?
- The registration process is completely online, for this the candidate will first have to visit mcc.nic.in website.
- After clicking on the ‘PG Medical’ section on the homepage, select the ‘New Registration 2025’ option available in the Candidate Activity Board.
- Now enter your NEET PG roll number, password and captcha and then fill the online form.
- Submit the required details and download the confirmation page.
