Won the Miss World title in 2000, know why Priyanka Chopra cried on the film set for the first time

It was not easy for Priyanka Chopra to win the Miss World title on her own from Bareilly city of Uttar Pradesh. She was the fifth Indian to win this title. Before winning the title of Miss World, Priyanka’s brilliant answer to the question had won everyone’s heart.

She was asked who is the most inspirational living woman in the world for you and why. Answering this question, Priyanka Chopra replied – Mother Teresa. She had said that she admires many people. Even though technically Priyanka Chopra gave the wrong answer because Mother Teresa had passed away before the year 2000, still no one could stop Priyanka from winning the title of Miss World.

Even during the Miss World competition, Priyanka was asked to wear a two-piece, but the actress professionally refused and wore the clothes in which she was comfortable.

Madhu Chopra had mentioned that the organizer had put pressure on the actress to wear a two-piece in the competition, but without showing any tantrums, Priyanka Chopra wore what she liked.

After winning the Miss World contest, the doors of South Cinema and Bollywood opened for Priyanka. In the year 2002, she worked with Vijay in the South film “Thamijaan”. The actress entered Bollywood in the year 2003 with the film “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy”. Very few people know that for the first time during the shooting, Priyanka used to cry on the set because the make-up man used to apply a lot of make-up on her face and she too could not recognize herself.

He had revealed in an interview that earlier on the set he had difficulty in speaking long dialogues and did not even know how to work. In such situations, I used to start crying on the set.
