Want marriage certificate will not be needed
First, if there is a husband and wife to add their name to the passport, then a long process had to be done for him. And also had to submit a marriage certificate. In such a situation, when a passport was needed to go out for a job or for some reason, the husband and wife had to face problems, it has not been as common to get a marriage certificate in India.

The Ministry of External Affairs has abolished the marriage certificate to add its spouse’s name to the passport after marriage. For this, the autonomous certificate has now been recognized. Now people will get the option of Annexure J.

On which he will be able to upload his wedding photo and joint photo. On which both of them will be signed. So at the same time, some information will also have to be recorded in it. This document will be considered as a marriage certificate. Based on this, the name of the husband and wife will be added to the passport.
