Ranveer wrote on Insta Story, ‘My intention was to highlight Rishabh Shetty’s excellent work in the film. Being an actor, I know how much hard work must have gone into doing that particular scene the way he did it. For this he was greatly appreciated. I have always been respecting all the cultures of our country. If I have hurt anyone, I apologize wholeheartedly.

Ranveer had said in his speech in Goa, ‘I saw Kantara-Chapter 1 in the theatre. And Rishabh Shetty gave a tremendous performance. Especially when the female ghost comes inside you, that shot was amazing. After this, Ranveer also imitated Rishabh Shetty.
