‘Lalo – Krishna Sada Sahayate’ has become the first Gujarati film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. What is even more surprising about this success is that the budget of the film was only Rs 50 lakh and it had a very poor start. When released in Gujarat on October 10, 2025, it earned only Rs 5 lakh on its first day. Even in the first three weeks its earnings were very modest. Let us tell you that it had earned Rs 40 lakh in the first week, Rs 30 lakh in the second week and Rs 80 lakh with a slight increase in the third week.
But as word of mouth spread, the film became a blast. It earned Rs 32.50 crore in the fifth week, Rs 28.25 crore in the sixth week and Rs 17.75 crore in the seventh week. With this, ‘Lalo’ has become the biggest blockbuster of Gujarati cinema so far.

According to the report of Sacknilk website, after its eighth weekend, the film earned a whopping Rs 101.50 crore worldwide in 52 days. Even on the 53rd day, when most films barely fare, ‘Laalo’ once again surprised the trade by earning Rs 88 lakh gross (Rs 76 lakh net) in 981 shows with an occupancy of 16.2%. Looking at the way this film is still standing at the box office, it seems that it will increase its collection further.
