Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is going to start a big campaign in Uttar Pradesh for voter rights and protection of the Constitution. Party’s UP in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh announced in a press conference in Bareilly that a 6-day padyatra will be taken out from Rampur to Amroha from December 21 to 26. This yatra will cover three districts Rampur, Moradabad and Amroha.
Sanjay Singh told that during the Padyatra, there will be 4 big public meetings in Rampur, Moradabad, Pakwara and Amroha. Welcome and dialogue programs will also be organized at different places along the route of the yatra. He said that this is not just a yatra, it is a campaign to make the public aware.
Conspiracy to cut two crore votes
Sanjay Singh alleged that voter list tampering is being done on a large scale in UP. He said that 70-70 thousand votes were deducted in an assembly in Bihar. Now preparations are on to remove about two crore votes in UP. We have strong evidence of irregularities in Lucknow, Jaunpur and Rampur. On December 11, I will present the complete district wise figures.
According to him, genuine voters are being excluded in the name of death, permanent shifted and untraceable categories.
Allegation of removing real voters by calling them Bangladeshi
Sanjay Singh mentioned the incident in Lucknow in which sanitation workers who had come from Assam were issued notices claiming they were Bangladeshis, despite having all the documents. He said that even in Dulaipur of Jaunpur, votes are being cast by calling people who have come to work from Varanasi as foreigners. This is open robbery of votes.
He said that BJP is trying to change the electoral mathematics by removing real voters in the name of SIR process.
‘The country will be run by the Constitution, not by the orders of any Baba’
While speaking on the other big issue of the Padyatra, Sanjay Singh made a scathing attack on the Central and UP governments to save the Constitution. He said that today the right to equality and secularism is under attack. BJP is running a fake Baba debate, which is a conspiracy to divide the country. The country will run on the Constitution of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, not on the orders of any Baba.
He said that if everyone starts demanding a separate nation – Sikh nation, Tamil nation, Naga nation, then the country will be divided into princely states.
Bulldozer targets politics
On the recent bulldozer action in Bareilly, Sanjay Singh said that BJP is using it only for show and to divide the society. He alleged that a 140 year old temple in Delhi, 300 temples in Kashi and many houses and temples in Ayodhya were demolished with bulldozers. Slums of sanitation workers were demolished in Sultanpur. Bulldozer is not the constitution.
He said that the Supreme Court has also made it clear that bulldozers cannot be misused.
Politics in the name of Bangladeshi infiltration?
Sanjay Singh claimed that a total of 315 people were found in the SIR investigation of Bihar, out of which 78 were Muslims and the rest were Hindus from Nepal. He said that 80 lakh votes were deleted. Will you keep everyone in the detention center? This is a way to divert attention from all the issues.
Sanjay Singh said that this Padyatra, which will run from 21st to 26th December, will tell people in every district how in the name of SIR process, voters are being deprived of their rights and the Constitution is being weakened.
He said that this journey is not just yours but a fight to protect the rights of every citizen. Democracy will survive only when both votes and the Constitution remain safe.
