Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has given a serious reaction to the speech given by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Parliament. While talking to the media in the Parliament complex, Rahul Gandhi said that Amit Shah neither gave direct answers to his questions nor presented any evidence. He claimed that Shah seemed nervous and his behavior in Parliament clearly showed that he was under mental pressure.
Rahul Gandhi alleged that Amit Shah’s behavior in Parliament was not normal. He used foul language, his hands were trembling. The entire Parliament has seen this. Rahul Gandhi said that he had given an open challenge to Amit Shah in the House to come and discuss the issues raised in the press conference, but according to him, Shah did not respond to this challenge.
Rahul Gandhi attacks against RSS
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi earlier claimed on Tuesday (9 December 2025) that various institutions and the Election Commission were captured under the ‘project’ of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). While participating in the discussion on election reforms in the Lok Sabha, he asked why the Chief Justice was not included in the selection committee appointing the Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners. He alleged that this government changed the law in December 2023 so that no election commissioner can be punished for his decisions.
Targeted at BJP including RSS
Rahul Gandhi claimed that no Prime Minister in history had done this. Rahul Gandhi said that if voting becomes meaningless then Lok Sabha, Assembly or Panchayat, none will cease to exist. Targeting the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Congress leader said that after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the next part of their project was to capture the institutional structure of India.
