One year old girl Veda Paresh has set a new record in the world of sports. Veda Paresh, who comes from Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, has registered her name in the India Book of Records. She has become the youngest swimmer to swim 100 meters. He accomplished this feat at the age of 1 year, 9 months and 10 days. According to India Book of Records, Veda completed 100 meters in the time of 10 minutes and 8 seconds in Nagam Nigam swimming pool located in Ratnagiri.
India Book of Records has officially recognized Veda Paresh’s achievement and called it a remarkable achievement for someone so young.
According to India Book of Records, Veda has become the youngest child to swim 100 meters. He was born on January 22, 2024. He completed the 100 meter swim by completing four rounds of the 25 meter long lap.
Veda Paresh has also shared many videos of her swimming on her official Instagram. At the time of writing this article, the number of her Instagram followers is more than 4800 and her swimming videos keep appearing on this account regularly.
Earlier in November 2025, 10-year-old Aanvi Shailesh had swum 17 kilometers in open water from Atal Setu to Gateway of India. She was one of the young swimmers of India to complete such a challenging task. This achievement was very special because Aanvi had achieved this feat on her 10th birthday.
