Senior Congress Party leader Renuka Chaudhary has given a big statement regarding the speech given by Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the Lok Sabha on Friday (December 12, 2025). Renuka Choudhary said that the personalities of both Rahul and Priyanka are completely different, hence they should not be compared.
The speeches given by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the Lok Sabha during the winter session of Parliament for the last two days have become a topic of discussion, commenting on which senior Congress leader Renuka Chaudhary said, ‘They are like apples and oranges, which cannot and should not be compared with each other.’
Actually, this statement of Renuka Chaudhary has come out after the discussion in which it is being said that while Priyanka Gandhi Vadra gave an impressive speech during the debate in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, who was active in politics much before her, did not take full advantage of his opportunity.
People are free to express their views: Chaudhary
Renuka Chaudhary told NDTV, ‘It should be kept in mind that both of them had given their speeches in the House on different issues, so any kind of comparison would be absolutely nonsense psychologically, however, people are completely free to express their opinion.’
He said, ‘Priyanka Gandhi is very good, she said whatever she had to say in the House. If we talk about Rahul Gandhi, he talked on a different issue and his style is also different. Reiterating his point, he said, ‘It is like comparing apples and oranges. This does not happen. Both of them expressed their views on different subjects in the House.
Both raised issues in their own way: Renuka Chaudhary
Renuka Chaudhary further said, ‘We become too conservative and expect a certain kind of reaction that it should be like this, but it does not happen. Different people express their views on things in different ways. I think both of them raised important issues in their own way.
However, when he was asked a question about being a better speaker, he refused to take the name of any one and said that the styles of both are so different that it would not be right to call any one of them better or lesser.
