Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar is in the headlines these days. Meanwhile, the dance video of Akshay Khanna, who played the role of Dacoit Rehman in the film, is going viral. Apart from this, there are many other such scenes of Akshay Khanna which are in discussion. Recently, Naveen Kausish, who played the role of a member of Rehman dacoit’s gang, revealed that Akshay had to face not one or two but seven slaps.
Actually, a scene is shown in the beginning of the film, in which Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain fame Saumya Tandon, who played the role of Rahman’s wife Ulfat, is seen venting out her anger on her husband for the death of her elder son. As soon as she gets the news of her son’s death, she rushes to the hospital crying and slaps Rehman Dacoit hard on his cheek.
Akshay did not hesitate even after getting slapped several times
While talking to Filmygyan about this scene, Naveen said that seven retakes were done to shoot this scene. Naveen said that Soumya was a little hesitant. To make that scene powerful, Akshay sir was taking retake after retake. Akshay sir was slapped so many times but he did not hesitate even once.
Akshay sir and Aditya sir were repeatedly explaining to Saumya that she should get into the character and do not think that there is a star standing in front of her. This is Ulfat who is standing in front of Rehman and is not afraid of him. Let us tell you that when this scene was shot, Naveen was also there. He felt that two-three takes were enough. But Akshay sir, Saumya and Aditya sir did not stop until the scene was perfect. Let us tell you that undoubtedly Soumya’s role in this film is very less, but no matter how long she has been in the film, she has become popular.
