This country’s team is coming to India to play five-match T20 series, know the complete schedule

Sri Lanka women’s cricket team left on Wednesday to participate in the five-match T20 International series against ODI world champions India starting on December 21. The first two matches of this series will be played in Visakhapatnam on 21 and 23 December, while the remaining three matches will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on 26, 28 and 30 December.

The team led by Chamari Atapattu is a mix of senior and young players. Sri Lanka has dropped some players who were regular members of the team for a long time due to continuous poor performance.

These players include Anushka Sanjeevani, Udeshika Prabodhini, Sugandhika Dassanayake and Achini Kulasuriya. In Sanjivani’s absence, Kaushini Nuthyangana can take over the responsibility of wicketkeeping. 17-year-old spinner Shashini Gimhani and 19-year-old medium pace bowler Rashmika Sewandi have returned to the team.
