Paro Pinaki Ki Kahani is a very true, sensitive and heart touching love story, which presents the lives of common people and their emotions in a very simple but effective manner. This story of a sewer cleaning boy and a vegetable selling girl is not based on any artificial romance, but on the bitter truths of life, pain and hopes. This love that started from the train compartment gradually reaches the heart of the audience, where poetry, silence and small things leave a deep impact.
Eshitta Siingh is not only the lead actress of the film but also the producer, and she has proved with her method acting, self-confidence and screen presence that talent does not need any identity. Sanjay Bishnoi, Hanuman Soni and the rest of the cast have brought life to their characters, while the music of the film adds more depth to its emotion. Rudra Jadon’s writing and direction is an example of powerful cinema even with limited resources.
This one and a half hour long film takes you completely into the world of Paro and Pinaki, and its ending is so unpredictable that even after it ends, you will remain lost in thought for some time. The film is not just a love story, but a strong commentary on privilege, struggle and human sensibilities. This film, which is releasing in theaters on January 30, gives us 4 out of 5 stars. A film that has to be seen and felt.
