Joe Root has created history in the ODI series against India. He scored 249 runs in the entire series without scoring any century. The even more surprising thing was that no Indian bowler could dismiss Root in the entire series. With this, he has made a record of scoring the most runs in an ODI series without getting out.
The third ODI match between India and England was played at Lord’s ground. In this match, England batted first and scored 388 runs on the scoreboard. This is the biggest score made at Lord’s ground in the history of ODI cricket. Joe Root returned unbeaten after scoring 74 runs in 48 balls.

Joe Root scored a total of 249 runs in three matches of the ODI series against India. Root has made the record of scoring the most runs in an ODI series without losing his wicket. Earlier this record was in the name of England’s Jos Buttler, who had scored 248 runs without getting out in the series against Netherlands in the year 2022.
