Megastar of the century, Amitabh Bachchan had attended the screening of his grandson Agastya Nanda’s debut film ‘Ikkis’ in Mumbai last night. This film is going to be released in theaters on January 1, 2026, while before its release, a special screening of the film was hosted last night. He fondly recalled the journey from the birth of his grandson to his final decision to realize his dream of becoming an actor. His birth… holding him a few hours later and discussing whether his eyes were blue… then when he grew a little and I held him in my arms, and he started playing with my beard… then his growth… then his final personal decision to become an actor, and tonight seeing him in the frame of a film, making it impossible to take my eyes off him every time he comes into the frame of the film.”
Big B praised Agastya Nanda’s acting
After this, Big B praised Agastya’s acting and said that it was not excessive anywhere, but was absolutely precise in every shot. He also clarified that his review was not from the perspective of a grandfather, but from the perspective of an experienced cinema viewer. ‘इक्कीस’ फिल्म द्वितीय लेफ्टिनेंट अरुण खेत्रपाल की लाइफ पर बेस्ड है और 1971 के भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध के दौरान बसंतर की लड़ाई पर फोक्ड है. फिल्म का टाइटल उस उम्र को दर्शाता है जब उन्होंने शहादत प्राप्त की थी. इक्कीस का निर्देशन श्रीराम राघवन ने किया है और दिनेश विजयन की मैडॉक फिल्म्स ने इसका निर्माण किया है.
