Speculations regarding the sequel of the iconic Bollywood film ‘3 Idiots’ have once again intensified. Actor Sharman Joshi, who worked in the original film, recently expressed hope for the upcoming sequel. However, he also clarified that he has not received any official confirmation yet.
Let us tell you that Sharman Joshi played the role of Raju Rastogi in ‘3 Idiots 2’. Her bonding with Aamir Khan and R. Madhavan in the film was much liked. While talking to Hindustan Times, Sharman has given his reaction on the follow-up of the film.
He is not sure about 3 Idiots 2
Sharman Joshi said- ‘I have full hope that this will happen, but I have not been given any information about this yet.’ Sharman says that he does not have any clear information about the story of ‘3 Idiots 2’. He said- ‘I don’t know anything about it. If the film has potential then only Master Raju sir, Abhijat sir and Aamir will work on it.

Role in ‘3 Idiots’ and impact of the film
Sharman Joshi also told how he got the role in ‘3 Idiots’? He said- ‘I was making six-pack abs in the gym when Raju sir took the final call. He said that now you should not even look at Jim’s face for three years. Describing the impact of the film on his life, he said- ‘When I think of 3 Idiots, a smile comes on my face.’
Script of ‘3 Idiots 2’ finalized
According to the report of Pinkvilla, Rajukmar Hirani has finalized the script of ‘3 Idiots 2’. The film is expected to go on floors in 2026. Original cast Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, R Madhavan and Joshi can be seen again in the sequel of the film. Hirani had been thinking of a sequel for years but decided to go ahead only after putting his Dadasaheb Phalke biopic on hold.
